Medical Examinations in Cape Coast

Whether it is for a new job, a school place, a visa application, a driving licence, or simply to know where your health stands — a full check with the tests done in our own laboratory.

What we offer

A full check, with the tests done here

A medical examination covers your history, a head-to-toe physical examination, your blood pressure, weight and vision, and whichever tests the form or your health calls for. Because our laboratory is in the same building, samples do not have to travel and your paperwork is completed faster.

  • Pre-employment and workplace medicals
  • School, college and sports examinations
  • Visa, immigration and travel medicals
  • General health checks — blood pressure, sugar, cholesterol

Oak Tree Medical Services is in North OLA, Cape Coast, in Ghana’s Central Region — next to the Zoomlion offices, behind the Ameen Sangari factory. Everyone is welcome, wherever you are coming from — patients travel to us from across Cape Coast and the Central Region, including Elmina, Abura, Pedu, Mankessim, Saltpond, Anomabo and beyond.

Good to know

Medical examinations — your questions

What should I bring?

Bring a photo ID, any form your employer, school or embassy has given you, a list of any medicines you take, and your insurance card if you are using insurance. If glasses or contact lenses are prescribed for you, bring those too.

How long does it take?

The examination itself usually takes under an hour. If your form requires tests, the wait depends on which tests — we will tell you when you book what to expect.

Do you complete embassy and visa forms?

Yes. Bring the exact form you have been given. Some countries require their own approved panel physician, so check that requirement before you book — message us and we will help you work it out.

Can I have a general health check without a form?

Absolutely, and it is one of the most worthwhile things you can do. A check of your blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol picks up problems long before they cause symptoms.

Need a medical for work, school or a visa?

Message or call us — tell us which form you have and we will explain what is involved.
