Care for children of every age
We see children from the newborn days right through the teenage years — for the sudden things like fever, cough, diarrhoea and rashes, and for the ongoing ones like asthma, poor weight gain and feeding problems. Tests we order can usually be done in our own laboratory, and your child's medicines collected from the pharmacy before you leave.

Oak Tree Medical Services is in North OLA, Cape Coast, in Ghana’s Central Region — next to the Zoomlion offices, behind the Ameen Sangari factory. Everyone is welcome, wherever you are coming from — patients travel to us from across Cape Coast and the Central Region, including Elmina, Abura, Pedu, Mankessim, Saltpond, Anomabo and beyond.

From what age do you see children?
From newborn babies through to the teenage years. If your child needs care we cannot provide here, we will tell you honestly and help you arrange it.
My child has a fever — should I come in?
A fever in a child is always worth checking, and it should be seen urgently if your child is very young, is drowsy or floppy, is struggling to breathe, is not passing urine, or has a rash that does not fade when pressed. If you are unsure, call us on +233 20 012 4712 and we will advise.
Can you test for malaria?
Yes. Malaria testing is done in our own laboratory here in the building, so there is no second trip.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours, but messaging us on WhatsApp or calling +233 20 012 4712 first usually means less waiting. We are open every day, 9am to 6pm.
